Getting to the March

There are many transit options for getting to the Dyke March:

  • BART to 16th St Station: 0.6 mile/13-minute journey to Dolores Park, a few minor inclines

  • J Muni light rail to Church & 18th St (the stop is called Right Of Way & 18th St)

  • 33 Muni bus to 18th St & Dolores St

  • F, KT, L, M, S Muni light rail to Castro Station at Castro and Market St: 0.5 mile/13-minute journey to Dolores Park, few minor inclines (F will be impeded during the March 5pm-6:30pm)

 

Nearby Muni stops: The 12, 14, 22, 24, 35, 48, and 49 all stop within a 1 mile/15-minute journey to Dolores Park.

 

Bike racks are available at the park.

For seniors and dykes with mobility disabilities who are unable to access public transportation, San Francisco Paratransit provides van and taxi service everywhere in San Francisco. Riders must be ADA certified to ride Paratransit.

 

Rides are currently $2.75 one way and can be scheduled by visiting https://sfaccess.sfmta.com/ or by calling the Paratransit Reservations office at 415-285-6945. SF Access customers must make a reservation from one to seven days before the day of the trip. Reservations are accepted seven days a week, between 7 am and 6 pm. If you are not certified to ride Paratransit but feel that you need this service, you can find Paratransit applications in your language by visiting https://www.sfmta.com/reports/applications-ada-paratransit-service.
