2 DAYS AWAY! SF Dyke March nearly here! Thank you to all who are working on any of the multiple projects related to making this year’s SF Dyke March a success.

On Dyke Day, 6/27/26:
10:00 am: Trans Ally March- SF Dyke March is proud to stand in solidarity with a coalition of organizers, including IndivisibleSF, People's March & Rally, SF Dykes on Bikes ® WMC,and SF Pride, and will host the Trans Ally Rally, where we’ll march and rally to stand up for our trans loved ones. Starting at 10:00 am from the Embarcadero and ending at Civic Center at the People’s March Stage. After our speaker represents us on stage (apx 11:50 am), our team will head to 18th and Dolores to set up for the SFDM Rally beginning at apx 12:30 pm. The People’s March & Rally will continue programming on their stage thru 5:00 pm.
DOLORES PARK: Dykes and queers (and more) hang out in Dolores Park on Pride weekend, a day we Dykes have considered ours for 34 years. SF Dyke March doesn’t have an SFRPD permit or any programming planned inside the park, but there will definitely be Dykes in the park having Dyke fun. Many of us traditionally gather around noon. “Dykes Only Space” is an independent organization and you can learn more about them here.
12:00 pm: South bound lanes of Dolores St between 18th and 20th - street closure. North bound lanes will remain one-way (north) until MTA closes the street completely, closer to our rally start time.
12-1:00 pm: load in and set up begins for the rally and march preparations, on Dolores St. between 18th -19th Streets
2:00 pm: Dolores St. closure btw 18th and 20th Streets complete, north and south bound lanes. 18th street between Church and Dolores closed by 2:00 pm
3:00 - 4:30 pm: SF Dyke March street rally officially begins at 3:00 pm, at the same spot where the march steps off at 5pm. You don’t want to miss it!
4:15 pm: Safety training specifically for wheel monitors and march marshals - meet at 18th and Dolores.
4:30 pm: Safety and deescalation training for all safety volunteers (wheel monitors and march marshals). Thanks for keeping us safe!
4:30 pm: Staging and LINE UP for The March on Dolores Street begins - bring your contingent and bring your crew. See Line Up specific info below.
4:30 pm: Sound crew re-sets the stage to be a rolling sound struck.
5:00 pm: 18th and Dolores Streets - At 5:00 pm, the San Francisco Dyke March steps off from the corner of 18th and Dolores with 34 years of tradition under our boots, to take space in the streets of San Francisco. See the map at the top of this page for the route details. The San Francisco Dyke March route is approximately 2.2 miles long.
LINE UP SPECIFICS:
STAGING: Motorcycles park behind the ambulance at 18th and Dolores, in front of Dolores Park Cafe. The trolly will park behind the motorcycles.
THE MARCH ORDER - Wheels go before the people as a general rule. The order of the Dyke March is as follows:

There are many transit options for getting to the Dyke March:
BART to 16th St Station: 0.6 mile/13-minute journey to Dolores Park, a few minor inclines
J Muni light rail to Church & 18th St (the stop is called Right Of Way & 18th St)
33 Muni bus to 18th St & Dolores St
F, KT, L, M, S Muni light rail to Castro Station at Castro and Market St: 0.5 mile/13-minute journey to Dolores Park, few minor inclines (F will be impeded during the March 5pm-6:30pm)
Nearby Muni stops: The 12, 14, 22, 24, 35, 48, and 49 all stop within a 1 mile/15-minute journey to Dolores Park.

For seniors and dykes with mobility disabilities who are unable to access public transportation, San Francisco Paratransit provides van and taxi service everywhere in San Francisco. Riders must be ADA certified to ride Paratransit.
Rides are currently $2.85 one way and can be scheduled by visiting sfaccess.sfmta.com or by calling the Paratransit Reservations office at 415-285-6945. SF Access customers must make a reservation from one to seven days before the day of the trip. Reservations are accepted seven days a week, between 7 am and 6 pm. If you are not certified to ride Paratransit but feel that you need this service, you can find Paratransit applications in your language by visiting sfmta paratransit.
