In-Person Event Cancelled: Saturday June 27, 2020

The San Francisco Dyke March has made the difficult decision to cancel 2020’s rally and march. We understand how important this event is to our community- to take up space together, be seen, celebrate, protest, and sustain connections year to year. However, given the current pandemic and acknowledging our community’s higher risk, we cannot in good conscience plan for an in-person event in 2020.

We are brainstorming ways we can mark the event that are safe for our health and within the capacity of our organizing committee. More information on that will come in the following weeks, particularly as we learn more about continuing state and local regulations on large gatherings, the city’s plan for Pride, and Trans March’s pivot as well.

The health and safety of our community is so important as well as the need for visibility and connection, and we are already looking forward to seeing you in 2021!

We are 100% volunteer-run and we NEED our community

(that's right, YOU!) to make this happen.

Whether you want to come to a few meetings to help shape our vision, sell some raffle tickets at a fundraising event, or be a safety monitor on the day of the March (or none/all of the above!), we would LOVE to have you play any part you're interested in in making the Dyke March happen.
