DYKE DAY DETAILS developing

April 23, 2026 • The Latest from the SF Dyke March

10 WEEKS AWAY! June 27, 2026 is barely more than 10 weeks away, and plans for Dyke Day continue to evolve. Thank you to all who are working on any of the multiple projects related to making this year’s SF Dyke March a success.

SMALLER FOOTPRINT FOR 2026: The biggest change from 2025 events to announce is that on Dyke Day, 6/27/26, we are shifting to a shorter street rally to begin a couple hours before the SF Dyke March steps off from the traditional place and time: 5pm from 18th and Dolores Streets. For this year’s rally before the march steps off at 5, we’ll have a few speakers, performers and djs on the back of the sound truck which will be our stage in the street (exact rally locale on Dolores TBD).  So far, no event activities are planned INSIDE the park.

WHY? It This supports ongoing efforts to sustain the march for years to come. Our updated crowdfunding goal is $60k—still a big lift, but more realistic. We’ve updated the fundraising page and will do the same on the social platforms, thanks for your patience.

COALITION BUILDING is where it's at. SFDM is in sull support of and are honored to stand in solidarity with coalitions of organizers – The plans are still developing for a very full Dyke Day, and we'll share more when there's confirmed confirmations. Join community now and submit a Volunteer Intake form.
